Action Alert!
Corporatists on Supreme Court
Five activist judges on the US Supreme Court--Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Scalia and Kennedy -- have dealt our democracy a severe body blow. Their recent decision swept aside a century of court precedent on campaign finance reform. The ruling gives Corporations and organizations unfettered access to the election process. Work must begin to repair and strengthen campaign finance regulation.

Final Thoughts . . .
"In 1819 Thomas Jefferson wrote that the "Constitution...is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary which they may twist and shape into any form they please." What Jefferson meant as a warning the current majority on the Supreme Court takes as a job description."
- Mike Mcabe, Wisconsin Democracy Campaign
