Other Local Progressive Groups



The Grassroots Citizens of Wisconsin is an energetic, progressive group that began with a discussion among a few friends who wanted to change our nation's direction. They are now 400 people strong in Iowa, Sauk, Lafayette and Grant Counties and have stepped up and said "count me in." They are Democrats, Republicans and Independents.  In 2004, the group is working to turn out the vote for federal candidates such as John Kerry, Russ Feingold and Ron Kind and are promoting rational discussion on national, state and local issues.
